Thanks

I think I will try and make the training in Jan aswell, but totally depends on the Snow issues.

Ben, not played Cricket for awhile but, I would have a go to help bring in a win.

Cheers

Hi sadly I won't be taking to the field as a Rifleman for a very long time so my Gun, Bayonet and leather work will be coming up for sale very soon.  So if you can hold back on buying until you have been to an event we can talk a deal I'm sure.

Sorry to hear you are a long term sicklyman. Are you still planning to come to events and take on a new role?

[smilie=pdt_piratz_15.gif] did I say Bayonet forgive me Sergeant .

Iain, Ho yes I will still be around like a bad smell.  I am actively looking at the new role now, but suddenly I am in demand here too I am now the new chair of school of governors the Police want me to do more work for them and the coast guard have given me a project to sort out.  I've been on so many courses that my poor little brain is spinning and the Doctors say take it easy lol.

I may not make January training as I won't be able to bring my carer along.  But def be there in February .

sad little fellows.

Hi there (new) Dave, I joined the unit when I was 17. I turned up at the train station in north London having travelled from north Wales, all on my lonesome to meet a bunch of middle aged men - sounds dodgy right - but it was rather good fun!

Unfortunately the next even I can attend is either Dorchester or the one after...

Sorry about reviving an old topic, Paul you mention clamps, could you provide some more detail, are they considered a safe way of storing a rifle in an atic, do you need to damp prrof the rifle if it is going to be up there (I know in the modern day you oil the barrel etc, would you oil the whole thing for storage)

Cheers Muchly.
