lead

Anybody know  where I can get my hands on some cheap lead (and donít say a church roof). I have looked on line but can only find people charging an arm and a leg for ingots of lead, PD where do you get yours from
Paul Durrant

Ben's brother was knocking some old outbuildings down on his land some time ago...

I did buy some sheets (or ingots) of that 'leading' stuff from a local plumbing shop once. I tried a scrap merchant once and they wouldn't sell. Said they weren't allowed (Toxic waste?).

Actually I got that load off the church roof Paul.

Depends also what you want to shoot - if its werewolves I think you should use gold anyway.

If you expected sensible replies you should know better Paul!

Thought it was silver for werewolves? Isnt gold for mermaids?
Eddie

Silver ? - never tried that but actually Ben you may be right - we don't get many werewolves in Devon - glad I don't live in Wiltshire thats all I can say.
Obadiah

What metal do you use to shoot Serjt's?

Dave

Fool's gold?

lead

Hi all. I have two sources for lead here in Texas (the colonies) we can get the old lead sheets the phone company cuts apart when they repair the lines. or the lead wheel weights used to balance tires make great balls, they can be a bit hard if they have too much antimony in the mix. but just a couple of suggestions.
