|One of the rarer manuals of the period has been republished by yours truly from my original edition. In 1804, Sjt William Weddeburne wrote his manual on the instruction of light infantry and rifle soldiers. Weddeburne was a 95th Serjeant, detached to instruct volunteer forces, and he based his system on the structure of training used by the Rifle Corps.
My new edition contains the full text of the hard to find volume, plus some analysis, biographical information, and a section on Weeley barracks.
